Responsibilities:
- Managing a team of 25 in the technical office.
- Reporting to Project Manager.
- Coordination with variant trades including MEP, Kitchens, and Aluminum works, doors, wardrobes, vanities,etc.
- Design Risk assessment & IRS's.
- Technical meetings / progress meetings.
- Ensuring design deliverables available to technical office & site as per program.
- Ensuring coordination with all parties / departments.
- Working with the main contractor & Consultant to attend any problems occurring.
- Provide guidance to the Project team on Design related issues.
- Assist the PM in the drafting and issuance of project proposals, RFP’s, tenders, budgets, cash flows andpreliminary schedules.
- Prepare project organization and communication charts.
- Chair internal site meetings and distribute minutes to all project team members.
- Use project scheduling and control tools to monitor projects plans, work hours, budgets and expenditures.
- Ensure project’s needs are met in a timely and cost effective manner.
- Review field inspection reports from Consultants throughout the lifecycle of the project.
- Issue Contracts, Letters of Intent, Purchase Orders, etc...
- Maintain Contract Execution Tracking Log.
- Track & manage contemplated change notices and change orders in the database.
- Prepare substantial completion certificates and ensure all required project close out documents areobtained.
- Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude, and fordeveloping this attitude in others.
- Keep the Project Manager (PM) and others informed about project status and issues that may impact thecompany’s relations.
